My Horses - what have we been up to this week?

This week Basil and I have achieved one of our 2015 Aims!  Another HUGE step .... we jumped a cross pole!  It was only small, but after over 6 years I was really proud.  We did do funny cat jumps to start with but the last few times we popped it really nicely.  We enjoyed the sunshine last weekend with a lovely hack too.

 

 

We have been having some dry and relatively warmer weather this week so Fidget has enjoyed some days out without his rug. 

 

It won't be long before he has to wear his Sweet Itch rug again so it is great for him to have an opportunity to roll in the mud. However, after 4 days he has not taken advantage!

Chesney has been hiding in his rug and showing off his lovely pink tongue.  He is really putting weight on now and is so much better ... more brilliant news!
