Marshmallow Plant

This is another herb that is in several of the Breathing Supplements which I have been looking at for Basil.  It is also called Althaea officinalis - which is the name listed on several of the supplements.  It does grow in the British Isles as well as much of Europe.

It is interesting that so many herbs are good for several different problems and many that are good for respiratory issues are also good for digestive disorders.  Marshmallow is another of these as it is good for stomach or intestinal problems as well as coughs.
